NEW LOVE

Nova ljubav – New Love Na Akademiji dramskih umetnosti u Njujorku sreli su se australijsko – srpski glumac Boris Lukman i izraelska glumica Koral Mizrahi, diplomirali, zavoleli se, venčali i došli da sviju svoje gnezdo u Beogradu. Njihova divna ljubavna priča dotakla je srce gospođe Madlene Zepter koja je prihvatila ponudu da na Maloj sceni Madlenianuma ostvare svoju ideju za zajedničku predstavu. Boris i Koral doneli su u Beograd mogućnost da se realizuje našto veoma ekskluzivno -  svetska premijera romantične komedije NOVA LJUBAV (NEW LOVE) priznatog i nagrađivanog američkog pisca Adama Simkoviča. Simkovič, koji se školovao na Džulijardu i Univerzitetu Kolumbija napisao je više od 30 dramskih tekstova od kojih je NEW LOVE najnoviji. Ljubavnu priču o dvoje mladih njujorških glumaca interpretiraće upravo Koral i Boris koji su bili njujorški studenti i koji će doneti njujorški duh u svom glumačkom izrazu i time sigurno osvežiti beogradsku pozorišnu scenu nečim sasvim novim. Rediteljska palica poverena je engleskom umetniku doktoru Polu Leonardu Mareju koji je glumac, reditelj, dramaturg i pedagog, a koji je već lep broj godina stanovnik Beograda. On će uz asistenturu Gordona Mareja postaviti na scenu Madlenianuma predstavu u pravom zapadnom duhu sa svom lepotom englesko – američkog humora. Kuriozitet projekta je da će dizajn scene i kostima uraditi Viki Pejdž, američka umetnica  koja se takođe opredelila za život u Beogradu. Publika Madlenianuma će od 16. decembra kada se planira premijera moći redovno da gleda romantičnu komediju NEW LOVE (prva repriza 22. decembra) i da doživi kompletno internacionalni duh zahvaljujući internacionalnoj ekipi. Predstava će se izvoditi na engleskom jeziku bez titlovanja ili neke druge vrste prevođenja na srpski. Kosmopolitska atmosfera koja je sve zastupljenija u Beogradu obećava da će biti zainteresovane publike ne samo među stranim državljanima, već i među domaćom publikom kojoj je engleski jezik itekako blizak. Verujemo da će predstava NEW LOVE pokazati da je ljubav ono što ima prioritet na svakoj tački naše planete. Likovi koje u duodrami tumače Koral Mizrahi i Boris Lukman bore se da u svojim životima izbalansiraju odnos između ljubavi i karijere, a to je tema koja je više nego aktuelna za beogradsku publiku. Ljubavna priča NEW LOVE o dvoje glumaca pokazaće da je potrebno da prestanu da glume van scene i da dozvole sebi da se zaista zaljube. In the World premiere of American playwright Adam Szymkowicz’s NEW LOVE we follow thirty-something actors Suze and Miles as they navigate their way through their new relationship and rehearsals of their new play. Will their Suze and Miles’ relationship last beyond opening night? Or will it prove to be just a ‘show-mance’? The actors begin each performance of NEW LOVE not knowing how it will end IT IS YOU, THE AUDIENCE, THAT WILL DECIDE WHETHER THEIR LOVE SURVIVES AND HOW THE PLAY ENDS! This is a highly entertaining and thought-provoking piece of theatre, dealing with dilemmas of love, success, and security in a witty, touching manner: a universal drama of our time. Minimal staging showcases the play’s witty and insightful text and the actors’ skills in telling a story that ranges from the comic to the profound.
